About Maruthizhai
Maruthizhai is a boutique based in Tamil Nadu. We select kurtis, co-ord sets and sarees from trusted makers, check each one ourselves for fabric, stitching and finish, and list only what we'd be glad to wear.
The name comes from two Tamil words: Marutham, the old word for fertile, well-tended land, and Izhai, meaning thread or fine craft. Together they describe what we want the shop to feel like — grounded, and cared for.
We're not a large operation, and we're not trying to sound like one. Every order is confirmed by a real person on WhatsApp, sizes run honestly from S to 3XL, and if something doesn't fit or arrives wrong, you tell a person, not a chatbot.
